CLINICAL APPROACH

Richard combines advanced diagnostic skills, pain neuroscience education and four decades of clinical experience to help patients make sense of complex conditions and achieve meaningful, lasting improvements.

His approach begins with a comprehensive assessment that explores each patient's symptoms, medical history, lifestyle, activity levels and personal goals. By understanding the person behind the condition, Richard develops an individualised treatment plan focused on what each patient wants to return to, whether that is elite sport, recreational running or everyday activities.

Education is central to his practice. Using clinical illustrations, patient-specific explanations and progressive rehabilitation strategies, Richard helps patients understand their condition, build confidence in movement and develop practical tools to manage flare-ups.

Success means more than reducing pain. It means improving function, restoring confidence and helping patients return to the activities that matter most to them.
