Brad Hyde, DPT, BSc (Hons) Human Kinetics
Brad Hyde is a physiotherapist with 1.5 years of clinical experience in private practice, with a background spanning musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sports injury management, orthopaedics and post-operative rehabilitation. He graduated with a Doctor of Physiotherapy from Bond University in 2025, where he received the Dean's Award and served as an Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) Class Representative. Prior to this, he completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph, where he was recognised on the Dean's Honour Roll.
Brad has experience assessing and managing a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, including shoulder, knee, hip, spinal and lower-limb injuries. His private practice experience includes treating acute sporting injuries, work-related musculoskeletal conditions, persistent pain and patients recovering from orthopaedic surgery. He also brings two years of previous hospital experience at London Health Sciences Centre, where he worked across orthopaedics, general medicine, rehabilitation and musculoskeletal outpatient services. This provided him with valuable exposure to multidisciplinary healthcare and the management of patients with varied clinical needs.
Brad has a particular interest in shoulder rehabilitation, sports injuries and post-operative rehabilitation. His approach combines detailed clinical assessment, evidence-based exercise prescription, manual therapy and patient education to develop individualised treatment plans. He places a strong emphasis on progressive strength and conditioning, appropriate load management and helping patients build the physical capacity required to return to work, sport and everyday activities.
Brad believes effective physiotherapy extends beyond treating symptoms, focusing on helping patients understand their condition, take an active role in their recovery and achieve sustainable long-term outcomes. He has also completed additional training in Western Acupuncture and Dry Needling and enjoys working with people of all ages and activity levels, from those managing everyday musculoskeletal pain to individuals looking to return to sport and higher levels of physical performance.
